Bulla Dairy Foods has teamed up with Hoyts Cinema to bring a taste of the movies to the comfort of home, with the limited-time launch of Bulla Hoyts Choc Tops in Coles supermarkets across the country.

Hoyts sells millions of Bulla Choc Tops every year at its locations, and the treats will now also be available at select Coles locations from 16 July-30 September, in four-packs of Vanilla or Salted Caramel.

Bulla head of marketing, Chris Martin, said the 115-year-old family business is thrilled to bring one of Australia’s most iconic movie treats into homes.

“There’s something special about a Bulla Choc Top and a great movie – whether it's in the cinema or on your couch,” said Martin.

“We’re excited to offer this new way for movie lovers to enjoy Bulla Hoyts Choc Tops at home. And thanks to our valued partners at Hoyts, we’re able to include a voucher code to save on your next trip to the cinema.”

Each pack of Bulla Hoyts Choc Tops also includes a voucher for a $12 movie ticket purchase, valid until 30 July 2026.

Hoyts general manager of food & beverage and retail, Michael King, said Choc Tops are synonymous with the movie going experience.

“While nothing beats biting into a Bulla Choc Top at the cinema, we’re excited to give people a taste of the Hoyts experience at home,” said King.

“It’s a fun way to bring the magic of Hoyts into living rooms – and a sweet reminder to come back and enjoy it with us on the big screen soon.

“Partnering with a major supermarket chain is an industry-first milestone that Hoyts is incredibly proud of. We will be the first cinema exhibitor to provide a new and convenient way for all to enjoy a Bulla Choc Top, and we couldn’t think of a better partner to collaborate with. We are proud of our decades long relationship with Bulla in providing a high-quality product to movie lovers,” he said.

Bulla Hoyts Choc Tops in Vanilla and Salted Caramel are now available in Coles supermarkets across Australia, for RRP $12.00.

Industry leaders have renewed calls for national packaging reform, warning that Australia's manufacturing resilience, recycling investment and sovereign capability remain vulnerable without policy action to create demand for locally recycled content and provide a more level competitive playing field.

Australia's emerging soft plastics recycling infrastructure is ready to process significantly more material, according to Soft Plastic Stewardship Australia, which has launched a three-month campaign aimed at boosting consumer returns and strengthening domestic supply of recycled resin.
