Sunshine Coast based ginger producers, Buderim Ginger, has launched a new product that lets customers make their own ginger beer – the Ginger Beer Home Brew Kit.

Buderim Ginger has been crafting ginger products since 1941, and is known for its snacks, condiments, beverages, health and wellness products, and its famous Ginger Beer. The company’s newest innovation is a kit that allows homebrewers to create their very own Buderim flavoured ginger beer.

Buderim Ginger product manager, Millie Mae, said the team was confident that customers would be impressed with the kit.

"We're thrilled to introduce our Ginger Beer Home Brew Kit, which has been expertly crafted with a clean brewing yeast to deliver a fresh, zingy ginger beer with a robust kick and minimal yeast flavour," she said.

Each 1kg pack includes everything needed to brew 20 litres of ginger beer, including brewing yeast and nutrient, resulting in a beverage with approximately 4% alcohol volume. It uses real 80 per cent ginger syrup, straight from Buderim’s Yandina factory to get the iconic taste.

The Ginger Beer Home Brew Kit is launching on 18 July, and will be available through Buderim’s distribution partner, Bevie, as well as at select home brew retail stores nationwide.
