Two companies have made further inroads into the everyday baking category with new ranges.

Dr. Oetker has 10 new products for at-home bakers on offer, while vanilla brand Queen will soon release seven new products with a focus on flavour and origin.

Dr. Oetker's Surprise Inside Cupcake Centres offer a filling for cakes and pastries in a ready-to-squeeze packet. The product is available in chocolate, salted caramel and lemon flavours, each with enough filling for 12 cupcakes.

The Sprinkles range also has two new additions: Salted Caramel Crunch and Sour Strands.

For beginner decorators, there is the Ready Rolled Icing Disc, which can be rolled over a 20cm round cake.

As for Queen, there are two new Ready to Roll Icing products which now fall under the Dr. Oetker brand name.

Other new additions include a new Designer Icing in chocolate, Edible Mini Wafer Flowers for decorating, and new single-serve Mug Cakes.

Queen has also added a range of premium, single origin vanilla products for bakers, including Madagascan Vanilla Bean Paste with Seeds.
