Two Aussie mums are on a mission to prove that better-for-you jelly doesn’t have to be boring with the launch of a new jelly brand without the nasty ingredients.

Available at Coles from 5 October, Hello Jello is made with natural colours, natural flavours, natural sweetener and has less than 1g of sugar per serve.

Hello Jello was created by Melbourne-based mums and friends, Jacqui Roth and Eliza Wallish, who wanted to enjoy full-flavoured jelly with their families without loads of sugar, artificial colours or flavours, artificial sweeteners and sulphites.

Each sachet contains 22g of jelly crystals to make 420g jelly. Hello Jello contains 3.7g of protein per serve and is sweetened with thaumatin, a natural sweetener derived from the katemfe fruit.

The new range comes in four delicious flavours for people of all ages to enjoy – Raspberry, Pineapple, Strawberry and Lime.

“A few years ago, we found ourselves standing in the supermarket, reading the ingredients on the back of a jelly packet,” said Wallish.

“We loved everything that jelly represented – fun, wobbly desserts, birthday parties and childhood nostalgia – but we couldn’t find a jelly product that we genuinely felt good about eating or serving to our families. So, we created our own.”

“Seeing something that started as an idea between two friends become something families can now pick up in store and online feels equal parts surreal, exciting and terrifying, but mostly exciting,” added Roth.

Hello Jello is available at Coles from 5 October 2026. Each sachet is $3 and contains 4 serves.
