Asahi Premium Beverages has released a new Cloudy Apple Cider variety within its Somersby brand portfolio following its successful blackberry launch in 2015.

The new flavour has been made “a little less sweet” than the original Apple Cider, in order to attract new drinkers to the cider category.

Somersby is a premium European cider with strong distribution across Australia in off-premise outlets, and is ranged in over 1500 on-premise venues.

After launching in October 2012, Somersby is now well-liked in Australia.

All Somersby flavours are made from natural fruit flavours and extracts, with no artificial sweeteners, flavours or colourings.

The cloudy apple flavour will join the existing offering of pear, apple, red rhubarb, blackberry, blueberry and elderflower lime.
