Global collagen protein supplier, Gelita, will present its new Bioactive Collagen Peptides (BCP) ingredients at Vitafoods Europe from 14-16 May.

As the official collagen sponsor of the show, Gelita will present three of its products; endurance collagen protein, PeptEndure, fibroblast stimulator, Verisol, and softgel gelatin, Easyseal.

Gelita says that PeptEndure is the first collagen protein solution on the market for improved endurance performance.

Instead of a short-term energy boost, the performance ingredient can “ensure long-term adaptive change in the muscle, supporting sustained peak performance”.

Gelita will also showcase Verisol, the BCP optimised to stimulate fibroblasts to produce more collagen, resulting in improved hair, nail and skin health, and a reduction in wrinkles and cellulite.

Scientific evidence confirms the efficacy and safety of these BCP, which is why the company says that leading brands worldwide rely on Verisol.

Pharmaceutical grade softgel gelatin, Easyseal, will round out the company’s showcase. Used in capsule seams to reduce leakage, Easyseal aims to improve production processes, cost savings and increase efficiency.

Gelita will also be presenting their latest special collagen peptides formulation at Vitafoods, with strong binding properties, for the creation of sugar-free, high-protein products.

Federal ministers yesterday convened an urgent industry roundtable on plastics supply chain pressures, placing packaging reform and domestic recycling capability firmly at the centre of discussions around Australia’s food security and manufacturing resilience.

The Australian Beverages Council has renewed calls for urgent national packaging reform, saying global supply disruptions highlight the need for stronger domestic recycling and harmonised EPR.
