The first 'coffee cube' to make Colombian coffee almost instantly in a cup of hot water has been launched and it also helps coffee farmers and their families.

Launched on Kickstarter, Santo coffee cubes are made from handpicked Colombian coffee along with high-quality ingredients and organic flavors.

With no chemicals or preservatives, the coffee is compacted and sweetened with a Colombian sugar called panela that is made from evaporated unrefined sugar cane and thought to be full of immunological benefits, a lower glycemic index, higher micronutrient content and easier to digest.

The coffee cubes were created by Ian Bernal who travels within the coffee and Colombian culture meeting with people who work every day in the fields to make one of the best coffees in the world.

A portion of proceeds from the coffee cubes go directly to Colombian farmers and their families for a better quality life.

To date, Bernal has helped over five farmer families in Colombia supplying many of their first needs and education for their children.

Current flavors available on Kickstarter include Caramel, Cappuccino, Hazelnut, Vanilla, Amaretto, Mocha, Dark Roast, Light Roast and Decaf.
