Mobile robot technology is striding forward, and visitors to Foodpro will be able to learn about latest advances.

Chris Probst, the product manager for automation technology at Omron, will be holding a seminar on advanced mobile robots and how they can improve food processing as part of the Foodpro line-up.

While many are familiar with fixed mounted robots that improve efficiency and productivity in manufacturing processes, there have been significant advances in mobile robot technology.

Probst will take visitors throught different types, such as Autonomous Intelligent Vehicles (AIVs), and explain how they can increase business efficiency.

Foodpro will run from 16-19 July in Sydney.
