Food manufacturing event Foodpro will offer a range of free educational sessions featuring industry leaders such as Food Authority NSW, Sealed Air, and Omron.

Foodpro 2017 will be split across two exhibition levels at the new ICC exhibition building in Sydney's Darling Harbour, and we've listed some highlights of the educational sessions below.

Andrew Davies, senior labelling compliance investigations officer, NSW Food Authority.

Davies will discuss current labelling issues and outline the Food Authority's approach to compliance and enforcement. Find out where the NSW Food Authority fits in the national perspective and the labelling provisions they govern under the Food Standards Code.

Ron Cotterman, vice president, sustainability, Sealed Air.

Cotterman will present recently collected results from a two-year study, with conclusions from this research providing valuable insights on how to ignite and guide the development of food waste prevention and sustainability strategies across the food supply chain.

Chris Probst, product manager for Automation Technology, Omron.
