Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming part of the food manufacturing conversation, but its success depends on how well it integrates with existing systems and data. At foodpro 2026, Food & Drink Business editor Kim Berry spoke with Markus Witor, CEO of CSB-System Australia, about the company's approach to AI-enabled food manufacturing.

CSB-System is demonstrating its integrated software platform, which brings together ERP, manufacturing execution, automation and AI in a single environment designed specifically for the food industry. Witor explains how the company's AI assistant is embedded within its ERP platform, allowing manufacturers to harness AI without creating new data silos, while keeping sensitive business data securely on their own servers.
