The gauges provide easy navigation with large easy-to-read full colour screens. Designed ergonomically with a stable grip, the rubber keypad ensures a single touch operation that corresponds to displayed options on the screen and guides the user during operation. Chatillon said the DF3 Series can optimise processes and save time.

Users can pre-define test setups, auto-save test results and automatically export them for further analysis through the test setup functionality. Its 40 hour battery life also makes it more reliable.

With an accuracy of 0.2 per cent of full scale, the DFE3 Series is designed for simple applications while maintaining functionality and is available in capacities from 0.5 lbf (2.5 N) to 500 lbf (2500 N). The DFS3 Series is a high-end gauge designed for basic and complex applications, with capacities from 0.5 lbf (2.5 N) to 500 lbf (2500 N) available. It has an accuracy of 0.1 per cent of full scale.

Supplied with durable carrying cases and adaptors, the DF3 Series also come installed with Chatillon’s ForceTest 3.0 software. Offering an improved interface, filtering options, raw data collection and presentation along with an in-depth library of test result options, the software interfaces directly to the DF3 Series force gauge. It also allows users to operate a personal computer to provide automatic performance testing, recording test graphs and data.
