KHS is responding to trends towards towards healthy and sustainable dairy products, including drinking yoghurt, with a range of linear aseptic fillers for bottling sensitive products.

The systems supplier is also rolling out a new modular system for filling sensitive products on rotary machines.

The systems can all be tailored to suit individual customer requirements and have a high level of flexibility and microbiological safety, according to the company.

Genetically unmodified milk and functional dairy products in unbreakable plastic bottles are becoming more popular, and the Innosept Asbofill ABF KHS provides a linear filling system for the hygienic filling of such products.

The machine is designed to fill up to 12,000 bottles per hour – or a maximum of 24,000 bottles every 60 minutes on the Twin version – holding between 0.25 and 3.0 litres.

The linear system is particularly efficient where there are frequent format changeovers and smaller product batches. It also reliably sterilises bottles and closures.

Besides the new developments for its linear filler, KHS also offers a new modular system for its rotary machines for high-performance filling.

The new concept can process between 24,000 and 36,000 and in the future up to 54,000 bottles per hour depending on the bottler’s required production capacity.
