New features have been introduced for Bronkhorst IN-FLOW mass flow meters and controllers supplied by AMS Instrumentation & Calibration.

The robust instruments, designed to be dustproof and waterproof in accordance with IP65 standard, are available for flow ranges from 0,05-1 mln/min up to 200-10000 m3n/h Air-equivalent.

In addition to the optional ATEX approval for use in Category 3, Zone 2 hazardous areas, the IN-FLOW series is now available with FM approval for Class I, Division 2.

With its wide range of digital metering and control devices in use in the the food and beverage industry, Bronkhorst is also making a new PROFINET fieldbus interface on its industrial mass flow meters and controllers for gases.

AMS calls PROFINET the “new standard for industrial automation” and says it offers major savings in configuration and commissioning.

With a comprehensive scope of functions, the flexible architecture of PROFINET enables cost-saving machine automation and it can be quickly commissioned due to its open access and defined interfaces and optimal diagnostics of devices as well as the network.

Depending on requirements, the digital flow meters and controllers can be equipped with one of the six available fieldbus interface options.
