Australian wastewater specialist, Aerofloat, has released the 4th generation of its AEROCIRC DAF, the latest iteration of a dissolved air flotation system refined across more than 15 years of installations in the food and beverage sector.
Aerofloat has built one of the deepest trade waste portfolios in the country, designing and constructing wastewater treatment plants for bakeries, breweries, dairies, meat and poultry processors, ready meals manufacturers and food courts. The 4th generation AEROCIRC DAF carries that experience forward, with design refinements drawn directly from how the previous generations performed on site.
Dissolved air flotation is the workhorse process for removing suspended solids, fats, oils and grease from food and beverage wastewater. Available in 20 and 30 m³/hr configurations, the new unit features a 60 degree hopper bottom with radial scraper that makes it genuinely self-cleaning, removing the manual maintenance most DAFs are known for.
A concentric adjustable weir handles flow variation across the production day without operator intervention. An integrated saturator keeps the footprint tight, freeing valuable floor space. Integrated stainless conduits, isolators and pneumatics shorten installation time and reduce disruption to existing operations.
Aerofloat is a full turnkey provider, taking projects from process design and 3D modelling through fabrication, installation and commissioning under ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001 certification. Chemical supply and ongoing service contracts are available post-handover.
