The deadline for the APPMA's Awards of Excellence has been extended to Tuesday, 15 March.

The Australian Packaging and Processing Machinery Association (APPMA) says that the decision to extend the deadline was made to help those from flood-stricken areas who have been affected by the floods, allowing them more time to submit their entries.

The Awards of Excellence have broadened for 2022, seeking out and recognising industry innovation, and celebrating success across the wide spectrum of the processing and packaging industry whether that be in machinery manufacturing and importing, sustainability, community contribution, packaging design or the emerging leader categories.

APPMA says that there has been a lot of interest surrounding submissions for the Awards.

Finalists will be announced on 26 April 2022, and the industry’s ‘night of nights’ gala dinner will take place on 18 May, promising a night of celebration and networking with industry leaders, colleagues and sponsors.

As previous victors concur, winning one of these prestigious awards not only positions your company as an industry leader, it gives your teams the recognition they are due – a highly motivating experience for employees at a time when retaining talent is increasingly important.

Award winners will receive trophies, media coverage and opportunities to promote their excellence.
