PKN + Food & Drink Business Women in Packaging Breakfast Forum

PKN Packaging News and Food & Drink Business are hosting a Women in Packaging Breakfast Forum, an event that will explore the new wave of learning opportunities that address the skills gap in line with rapidly advancing technology.

The event, which will take place on 30 April during the Australian Institute of Packaging’s National Technical Forum is themed Disruptive education – flexible learning for the future workplace.

Keynote presenter BrandOpus managing director Nikki Moeschinger will examine the importance of creativity on the future of humanity.

In her presentation, Creativity, Spirituality and Human Purpose at the Dawn of AI, Moeschinger will examine the importance of creativity on the future of humanity by looking both backwards and forwards to understand our place in a world on the cusp of momentous change, change more profound than the industrial revolution or the birth of the world wide web.

Moeschinger will also examine the importance of fostering creativity in the workplace and how crucial it will be for today’s leaders to undo some of the psychological damage done by social media with regards to risk taking, how the education system has it so terribly wrong, and the overwhelming effects of technology in our everyday lives and the need to redefine human purpose once many of our roles become automated.

A panel discussion, moderated by PKN Packaging News and Food & Drink Business publisher Lindy Hughson, will featuring influential and inspiring women working in the food, beverage manufacturing and packaging industry. Panellists include Lisa Vernalls, Packaging Director, Campbell Arnott's; Nerida Kelton, Executive Director, Australian Institute of Packaging; Dr Rym Kachouri, Product Manager Packaging Technologies, Foodmach.

Australia’s leading business expo for natural and healthy products, Naturally Good, is returning on 2-4 June at the Sydney International Convention Centre in Darling Harbour. Visitor registrations are now open.
